LOG ON TO 70S DISCO MARATHON MEMORIES

Welcome to the non-stop-pop page please have a look around:

Nostalgic memories of music events in Brigg more than 30 years ago are available on the internet.

Chris Dannatt, formerly of Glebe Road, Brigg, and an old boy of Brigg Grammar School, has enjoyed a long association with the disco scene. And he is featured in a series of pictures now featuring on the Scratch FM Mobile Disco website.

Chris was involved with Brigg and District Gateway Club's 50-hour disco marathon at the Corn Exchange in the early 1970s.

Bill Shakespeare was one of the driving forces behind the club, and Chris thinks the pictures were taken by Lincolnshire Times photographer Bryan Robins.

The images can be viewed on the Brigg non-stop pop page .

If you have any  memories of this event  ? please e-mail and tell us about them.
